I apply hands-on care to help my clients with a wide range of ailments. I integrate techniques from a number of disciplines including Chiropractic, Kinesiology, and Craniosacral and Myofascial Balancing.
Chiropractic's primary focus is biomechanical efficiency in the vertebral spinal joints and extremities (muscles, ligaments and tendons) with emphasis on integration and communication with the central nervous system. Chiropractic adjustments apply rhythmic, long lever manipulations of the spinal column to address restrictions in movement and energy flow.
Kinesiology is an adjunctive therapy to Chiropractic. I perform muscle testing to identify restrictions in movement, shortening of muscle groups, adhesions, scars and systemic imbalances.
Craniosacral and Myofascial Balancing helps support integration of the Chiropractic adjustment by restoring a relaxed natural rhythm to the flow of cerebro-spinal fluid.
In our session, we will address influences that add to, or create, spinal distortions - including the following:
- food sensitivities,
- gut dysbiosis,
- environmental toxins,
- nutritional deficiencies,
- dental foci,
- gland/organ stress and depletion.
At the end of the session, depending on the individual's needs and interests, we discuss recommendations for dietary changes, exercise, yoga, chi kung, therapeutic rehabilitation, improved sleep efficiency, and mindfulness practices
