Our bodily systems are inherently complex with many thousands of inputs and outputs coordinated with feedback loops that define the state of dynamic metabolic processes.
How do we understand the expression of this complexity in the body? Fortunately there are organizing principles in our physical and mental processes that provide clues to the unique biochemistry of each individual.
The organizing principles integrated in my approach to Nutritional Medicine include how cells convert nutrients to energy via the kreb cycle (the Carbo-Oxidative System), the interplay between the neurological, endocrine and hormonal systems, the balance between sympathetic and parasympathetic systems, genetic factors, electrolyte balance, glandular dominance, constitutional type, and finally, environmental and lifestyle factors.
Multiple levels of inspection lead to understanding the dominant factors that influence your health and well-being, and potentially predict where your immune system breaks down when challenged. The Nutritional Medicine I practice provides support for optimal functioning of the body/mind through nutrition (including food, herbs, and supplements) and alternative medicines including, homeopathy, drainage therapy, Bach flower remedies, cell salts, etc. The goal is to fully account for variations in each persons unique biochemical makeup.
I use detailed questionnaires, lab work, and objective measurements to build an understanding of your dietary and supplemental needs. In the course of our work together, you will develop tools to allow you to take a higher level of responsibility for health, balance, and prevention of disease. Regular dietary coaching will help you become sensitive to how these changes make you feel, and help you adapt to the new habits required to be genuinely healthy.

Human beings of the world are stressed and out of balance! When natural laws are violated we see symptoms of dis-ease in the body, emotion, mind and spirit.
The pollution and environmental imbalance that threatens our planet represents a similar challenge to our internal environment.
Poor diet and multiple stressors alter our biochemistry affecting our core sense of well-being.
